Samsung ViewFinity S80UD 37" Black 2024
The monitor delivers excellent 4K picture quality and a large screen that is ideal for multitasking and development work. However, several verified reviews highlight significant drawbacks: the control button is awkwardly placed on the back, the KVM functionality is misleading and does not work as a true switch, and the built-in network adapter is much slower than a direct connection. Panel uniformity issues, such as dark bleeding near the edges, are also noted. While the size and sharpness are praised, the monitor's flaws prevent it from being a top recommendation.
Pros
- Excellent 4K picture quality
- Large screen for multitasking
- Easy tool-free assembly
- 90W power delivery via USB-C
- Good port selection including LAN
Cons
- Awkwardly placed control button on back
- Misleading KVM functionality
- Slow built-in network adapter
- Panel uniformity issues with dark edges
- No remote control included
