Key Differences

• GPU performance is night and day: the OMEN's discrete RTX 5070 scores 28,703 on benchmarks vs the Vivobook's integrated Intel Arc at 5,484, a 5.2x gap that makes the OMEN the only real choice for gaming or 3D work.
• RAM and upgradeability: the OMEN ships with 32GB but it's soldered, so you're stuck with what you get; the Vivobook has 16GB, which is less but may be more flexible depending on the config.
• Display trade-off: the Vivobook's 16-inch screen is brighter at 600 nits and higher resolution at 3200px, while the OMEN's 14-inch OLED is 500 nits and 2880px, so the Vivobook wins for bright-room visibility and screen real estate.
• Weight and portability: the Vivobook is lighter at 1.50 kg vs the OMEN's 1.63 kg, which doesn't sound like much but adds up when you're carrying it all day.
• Real-world sentiment: OMEN owners consistently praise the premium build, cooling, and OLED display, but gripe about the 75W RTX 5070 being underpowered and battery life tanking outside eco mode; the Vivobook has far fewer reviews so long-term reliability is less proven.
