72 out of 100 medium confidence 10 reviews
The AMD FX-8300 is generally well-regarded for its value and performance in gaming and multitasking, with users praising its overclocking potential and compatibility with DDR3 RAM. However, several reviewers note that the stock cooler is loud and inefficient, recommending an aftermarket solution. There is also some confusion about the L3 cache specification, though one user confirmed it has 8MB. Overall, it's seen as a solid budget CPU, but potential buyers should consider waiting for newer options like Ryzen.
