Apple MacBook Pro 16.2" M4 Pro Silver 2024
HP OMEN Transcend 14" 14-fb1023dx Shadow Black 2025
Buy the MacBook Pro M4 Pro if you're a developer, video editor, or creative pro who values the 1600-nit Mini-LED display, 48GB of RAM, and Apple's superior multi-core CPU performance over raw gaming power.
Buy the HP OMEN Transcend 14 if you want a compact gaming laptop with a stunning 3K OLED panel and a discrete RTX 5070 that'll handle modern titles and GPU-heavy creative work without breaking a sweat.
Principais diferenças
- GPU performance is the biggest gap: the OMEN's RTX 5070 scores 28,703 on benchmarks vs the MacBook's 11,417, a 2.5x difference that makes the HP the obvious choice for gaming and 3D rendering.
- RAM is soldered on the OMEN at 32GB with no upgrade path, while the MacBook ships with 48GB, which matters a lot for large codebases, virtual machines, and heavy multitasking.
- Display trade-off: the OMEN's OLED panel looks gorgeous with perfect blacks, but it tops out at 500 nits, while the MacBook's Mini-LED hits 1600 nits, so the MacBook wins for outdoor use and HDR content.
- The OMEN's RTX 5070 is capped at 75W, which owners consistently mention as a limitation, so you're not getting full desktop-class 5070 performance despite the name.
- Battery life is a mixed bag on the OMEN: users report long runtime in eco mode but short life in normal mode, while the MacBook's efficiency is a known strength for all-day work away from a charger.
