Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M5 Space Black 2025
Lenovo Legion Pro 16" Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 Eclipse Black 2025
Buy the MacBook Pro M5 if you're a creative pro, student, or business user who values all-day battery, silent operation, and a premium build over raw benchmark numbers.
Buy the Legion Pro 7i if you're a gamer, 3D artist, or AI tinkerer who wants RTX 5090 performance and 64GB of RAM without caring about battery life or carrying around a chunky machine.
Belangrijke verschillen
- The Legion's Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX scores 55,815 in multi-core benchmarks vs the M5's 26,857, and its RTX 5090 scores 28,246 vs the M5's 8,452 in GPU tests. That's not a small gap, it's a different league.
- The Legion packs 64GB RAM and 2TB NVMe storage while the base MacBook Pro M5 ships with 16GB and 512GB. Owners of the MacBook consistently mention the 512GB base storage as a pain point for large media files.
- The MacBook's Mini-LED display runs at 3024px resolution vs the Legion's 2560px OLED. Both look great, but the MacBook is sharper and owners rave about the ProMotion display, while Legion owners praise the OLED's color depth.
- Battery and portability aren't even close. The MacBook scores 87 in compact vs the Legion's 55, and real users highlight the MacBook's silent, cool operation and all-day battery as standout features. The Legion is a desk machine that happens to have a hinge.
- Both sit at 4.9/5 ratings, but the MacBook has 2,340 reviews vs the Legion's 22. The Legion's sentiment is positive but based on thin evidence, while the MacBook's reputation is battle-tested across thousands of owners.
