Nutzer bestätigen, dass es 40-MP-Sensoren gut auflöst und ein schönes Bokeh erzeugt, vermissen jedoch einen Blendenring mit Rastungen und weisen auf das höhere Gewicht hin. Vereinzelt gab es Probleme mit einem falschen Gegenlichtblende und einem Exemplar, das weniger scharf als das Viltrox 35 mm Air war.
