Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M5 Space Black 2025
Lenovo Legion Pro 16" Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 Eclipse Black 2025
Buy the MacBook Pro M5 if you're a student, business traveler, or general creative who values all-day battery, a stunning 1600-nit display, and a thin-and-light build over raw benchmark numbers.
Buy the Legion Pro 7i if you're a gamer, CAD designer, or developer who wants desktop-class performance in a 16-inch chassis and doesn't mind lugging around a chunky machine with a power brick.
Differenze chiave
- The Legion's RTX 5090 scores 28,246 on GPU benchmarks vs the MacBook's 8,452, a 3.3x gap that makes gaming and 3D rendering a completely different experience on the Lenovo.
- The MacBook's display hits 1600 nits vs 500 on the Legion, so HDR content and outdoor visibility are dramatically better on the Apple, even though the Lenovo's OLED panel and 240Hz refresh rate win for gaming smoothness.
- Battery life and portability are night and day: the MacBook scores 91 on compactness vs 55 for the Legion, and owners consistently praise the M5's excellent battery while the Lenovo is basically a portable desktop.
- The Legion packs 64GB RAM and a 2TB SSD vs 16GB and 4TB on the MacBook, so the Lenovo wins for memory-hungry workloads but Apple gives you double the storage out of the box.
- Real-world feedback is strong for both at 4.9/5, but Lenovo owners mention a scratched touchpad on some units and no AMD option, while MacBook buyers gripe about the high price and occasional FedEx delivery headaches.
