What Buyers Say
Back Bay Audio Runner 60 (2023 Update)
The Back Bay Audio Runner 60 wireless earbuds receive mostly positive feedback for their sound quality, battery life, and secure fit during workouts. Users praise the loud volume (up to 110 dB) and the effective bass boost feature, though some note the sound is flat without EQ adjustment. A few reviewers experienced durability issues after several months, such as one earbud failing or erratic behavior, but the company's responsive customer service and warranty replacements are highlighted as a strong redeeming factor. The main drawback is the lack of warranty for purchases made outside the official website, which left one user with a non-functional single earbud.
Pros
- Excellent sound quality after EQ adjustment
- Loud volume up to 110 dB
- Secure over-ear fit for workouts
- Long battery life with charging case
- Effective bass boost feature
Cons
- Flat sound without EQ adjustment
- Durability issues after several months
- No warranty for non-official purchases
- Charging contacts may require cleaning
- Buttons take time to get used to

Users highlight the secure IEM-style fit, effective active noise cancellation, and reliable connectivity, though some note the EQ in the companion app could be more impactful. Battery life varies with codec and ANC usage, and the charging case is a bit bulky, but overall these are seen as an outstanding value for audiophiles on a budget.

- Effective active noise cancellation
- Reliable Bluetooth connectivity
- Good codec support (LDAC, AptX Adaptive)
