The Sony a6700 is widely praised for its compact size, intuitive interface, and impressive autofocus. Users upgrading from older cameras note significant improvements in image quality and ease of use. Cons

- Steep learning curve for many features
- Supplied SD card does not support 4K 120fps
Canon EOS R50 V R50 V Black 2025
The Canon R50V is a polarizing camera: enthusiasts who pair it with L-series glass and understand its technical quirks rave about its video quality and value, while less technical users find it frustratingly complex and plagued by software and connectivity issues. Many praise its compact size, excellent autofocus, and modern features like HDR video and USB-C charging, but the lack of IBIS, a limited RF-S lens ecosystem, and a finicky mobile app are common complaints. Overall, it's a powerful tool for knowledgeable creators on a budget, but a poor fit for casual vloggers or those seeking simplicity.
Pros
- Excellent video quality for the price
- Compact and lightweight design
- Great autofocus performance
- Modern features like HDR and USB-C charging
- Works well with L-series and EF-S lenses
Cons
- No IBIS (in-body image stabilization)
- Limited RF-S lens ecosystem
- Frustrating software and connectivity issues
- Complex and unintuitive for casual users
- Feels fragile and cheaply built
