HP OMEN Transcend 14" 14-fb1023dx Shadow Black 2025
Lenovo ThinkPad 14.5" P14s Gen 6 Black 2025
Buy the HP OMEN Transcend 14 if you want a premium gaming laptop with a stunning 3K OLED display and don't mind soldered RAM, since owners rave about the screen and cooling but warn the RTX 5070 is capped at 75W.
Buy the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 if you need a reliable business machine with Wi-Fi 7 and don't care about gaming, since it scores higher for business use and has a proper NVMe SSD.
Belangrijke verschillen
- The OMEN's RTX 5070 scores 28,703 on GPU benchmarks versus 13,078 for the ThinkPad's RTX PRO 500, a 2.2x gap that means the difference between smooth 1440p gaming and struggling at 1080p.
- The OMEN has a 2880px OLED panel with 120Hz refresh and 500 nits brightness, while the ThinkPad makes do with a 1920px IPS screen at 60Hz and 400 nits, so the OMEN is dramatically better for games, movies, and photo work.
- The ThinkPad has Wi-Fi 7 versus the OMEN's Wi-Fi 6E, which matters if you have a Wi-Fi 7 router and move large files around a network, but it's a niche advantage compared to the OMEN's display and GPU wins.
- Both are rated 4.6/5, but the OMEN has 287 reviews versus 64 for the ThinkPad, and OMEN owners specifically call out the premium all-metal build and excellent cooling as standout features.
- The OMEN's RAM is soldered with no upgrade path, while the ThinkPad uses a standard NVMe SSD, so the ThinkPad is easier to service and upgrade over time despite losing on raw specs.
