What Buyers Say
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H95
The Beoplay H95 headphones receive praise for their neutral, transparent sound signature with an expansive soundstage, premium build quality, and effective ANC that doesn't color the audio. However, several users note that the headphones are heavy and uncomfortable for extended wear, with a tight fit and a headband that causes pressure points. Volume is also a common concern, with some finding it insufficient, especially on planes. While the sound quality is considered excellent and refined, the comfort issues and high price lead to mixed feelings.
Pros
- Neutral and transparent sound
- Expansive soundstage
- Premium build quality
- Effective ANC without tone distortion
- Comfortable ear pads
Cons
- Heavy and uncomfortable for long wear
- Tight fit and headband pressure points
- Insufficient volume on some tracks
- Mediocre ANC compared to competitors
- Uncomfortable for medium-sized ears
Sony WH-1000XM6
The Sony WH-1000XM6 earns praise for its exceptional noise cancellation, clear sound quality, and comfortable fit for many users, with several calling it the best headphones they've owned. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious drawbacks: uncomfortable clamping force and shallow earcups causing pain, buggy multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, a fingerprint-prone finish, and disappointing customer service regarding warranty repairs and promised free gifts. While the ANC and audio are top-tier, comfort and reliability issues prevent it from being a universal recommendation.

- Comfortable for many users
- Long battery life
- Foldable design
Cons
- Uncomfortable clamping force
