Dell Latitude 14" 7400 Black 2018
HP OMEN Transcend 14" 14-fb1023dx Shadow Black 2025
Buy the Dell Latitude 7400 only if you need a cheap, lightweight laptop for basic office work, web browsing, and email, and you don't care about performance, display quality, or future-proofing.
Buy the HP OMEN Transcend 14 if you want a portable gaming rig that doubles as a serious workstation, especially if you can snag an open-box deal since owners say that's where the real value is.
Ключові відмінності
- The OMEN's Core Ultra 9 285H scores 34,200 in multi-core benchmarks vs the Latitude's i5-8265U at 5,784, a 5.9x gap that means the difference between rendering a video in minutes vs hours.
- Graphics are night and day: the OMEN packs a discrete RTX 5070 scoring 28,703 on GPU benchmarks, while the Latitude's Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics score 1,534, so gaming on the Dell is basically a slideshow.
- The OMEN gives you 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD vs the Latitude's 8GB and 256GB, and the OMEN's 2880px 3K OLED display makes the Dell's 1920px panel look washed out by comparison.
- Customer sentiment tells the real story: OMEN owners rave about the premium build, cooling, and that gorgeous OLED screen, though they gripe about soldered RAM and the 75W RTX 5070 being underpowered for the price, while the Latitude's 4.0 rating comes from just 4 reviews, so there's barely any real-world feedback to go on.
