ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" GA403WW-G14.R95080 Platinum White 2025
Buy the MacBook Air M5 if you need a silent, featherweight laptop for school, office work, or travel, and you don't care about gaming or GPU-heavy tasks.
Buy the G14 if you want desktop-class gaming or heavy creative work in a 14-inch laptop, and you don't mind fan noise when it's under load.
Differenze chiave
- GPU performance is not even close: the G14's RTX 5080 scores 35,666 vs the Air M5's 8,452, a 4.2x gap. If you game or render, the ASUS wins by a mile.
- Display: the G14 has a 2880px OLED panel at 120Hz, while the Air M5 has a 2560px IPS at 60Hz. The ASUS screen is sharper, smoother, and has better contrast.
- Portability and noise: the Air M5 scores 98 for compactness vs the G14's 86, and owners consistently mention fan noise on the ASUS during gaming. The Air is dead silent.
- RAM and storage: the G14 ships with 32GB RAM and 2TB NVMe SSD, while the Air M5 has 24GB RAM and 2TB SSD. More memory helps with heavy multitasking and creative apps.
- Battery and tuning: G14 owners say battery life is great only after tweaking with G-Helper and removing Armoury Crate bloat. The Air M5 just works out of the box with no tuning required.
