Lenovo ThinkPad 14" P14s Gen 5 Black 2024
Apple MacBook Pro 14.2" M4 Max Silver 2024
Grab the ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 if you want a cheaper Windows machine for light gaming or business tasks and don't need top-tier performance.
Buy the MacBook Pro M4 Max if you're a video editor, developer, or creative pro who needs serious horsepower and doesn't mind paying for it.
Diferencias clave
- The M4 Max crushes the Core Ultra 7 165H in multi-core benchmarks, 43,903 vs 25,861, which means rendering and compiling will feel dramatically faster on the Mac.
- You get 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage on the MacBook versus 32GB and 1TB on the ThinkPad, so heavy multitasking and large media libraries are way more comfortable on the Apple side.
- The MacBook's Mini-LED panel runs at 120Hz with a 3024px resolution, while the ThinkPad sticks to a 90Hz IPS screen at 2560px, making the Mac noticeably sharper and smoother for everyday use.
- The ThinkPad actually wins the gaming score, 68 to 60, thanks to its discrete RTX 500 Ada GPU, so it's the better pick if you want to play games on the side.
- Customer sentiment for the MacBook is near flawless at 95/100 with no significant gripes, while the ThinkPad has far fewer reviews and a lower 4.4/5 rating, so real-world reliability data favors Apple.
