What Buyers Say
Deco Gear VIEW490 49" Black 2019
The Deco Gear curved monitor generally receives high praise for its price, resolution, and gaming performance, with users highlighting the 144Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, and built-in hub. However, a verified negative review reports a critical USB-C port failure after a few months and describes customer support as nearly impossible to reach, with a promised replacement never delivered. While most reviews are very positive, the single detailed negative account significantly lowers the overall score due to the severity of the issue and poor support experience.
Pros
- Great price-to-performance ratio
- Sharp 1440p resolution with 144Hz refresh rate
- Built-in USB-C hub with power delivery
- Immersive curved display
- Easy plug-and-play setup
Cons
- USB-C port failure after a few months
- Terrible customer support
- VESA mount compatibility issues
- HDMI resolution limitations on MacBook Pro
- Decorative piece doesn't fit with VESA screws
ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCDMG 27" BLACK 2025
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG is overwhelmingly praised as a top-tier gaming monitor, with users highlighting its stunning 4K QD-OLED picture quality, deep blacks, vibrant colors, and buttery-smooth 240Hz refresh rate. Verified buyers consistently call it the best monitor they've ever used, noting excellent build quality and responsiveness. Minor drawbacks include a glossy screen that can reflect light, potential text clarity issues due to the subpixel layout, and a lack of included VESA screws, but these are far outweighed by the exceptional gaming and media experience. The Neo Proximity Sensor and OLED Care features provide peace of mind against burn-in, making it a highly recommended investment for enthusiasts.
