What Buyers Say
Sony WH-1000XM6
The Sony WH-1000XM6 earns praise for its exceptional noise cancellation, clear sound quality, and comfortable fit for many users, with several calling it the best headphones they've owned. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious drawbacks: uncomfortable clamping force and shallow earcups causing pain, buggy multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, a fingerprint-prone finish, and disappointing customer service regarding warranty repairs and promised free gifts. While the ANC and audio are top-tier, comfort and reliability issues prevent it from being a universal recommendation.
Pros
- Exceptional noise cancellation
- Clear and detailed sound quality
- Comfortable for many users
- Long battery life
- Foldable design
Cons
- Uncomfortable clamping force
- Shallow earcups causing pain
- Buggy multipoint Bluetooth
- Fingerprint-prone finish
- Poor customer service
SUNJOM Freepods
This pair of headphones earns mixed but generally positive feedback from users. Many praise the excellent battery life, comfort, and solid noise cancellation for the price, with several noting they work well for long listening sessions or workouts. However, recurring complaints about poor audio quality, especially weak bass and muddy mids, and an unreliable play button that activates on its own bring the score down significantly. The lack of a companion app for controls is also mentioned as a drawback.

- Excellent battery life (120 hours)
- Very comfortable for long wear
- Good for price with decent ANC
- Easy Bluetooth pairing
- Lightweight and stylish design
Cons
- Poor audio quality (weak bass, muddy mids)
- Faulty play button activating on its own
- No companion app for controls
- ANC considered poor by some
- Does not fold, no case included
