The TCL QM8 Mini-LED QLED receives widespread praise for its exceptional brightness, deep blacks, and vivid colors that rival OLEDs at a lower price point. Many users highlight its stellar HDR performance, gaming capabilities with 120Hz support, and great value for the money. However, a significant number of reviews report severe issues, including software updates that degrade picture quality and cause eARC/soundbar problems, motion blur during sports, laggy Google TV interface, and defective units out of the box. Customer support is frequently described as unhelpful. Overall, the TV offers remarkable picture quality but is plagued by reliability and software stability concerns.
