The Boox 10.2 eReader receives mixed feedback. Users praise its large e-ink screen, open Android platform, and excellent battery life, making it ideal for reading and note-taking. However, significant complaints include a fragile pen, glitchy third-party apps like OneNote and Zotero, slow e-ink refresh rates, and the manufacturer's refusal to upgrade Android beyond version 13, limiting the device's lifespan. The lack of a backlight and a problematic magnetic case also draw criticism.
