ASUS A16
HP OMEN Transcend 14" 14-fb1023dx Shadow Black 2025
The TUF A16 makes sense if you want a bigger 16-inch screen, more storage out of the box, and solid 1080p gaming performance without spending OMEN money.
Grab the OMEN if you want a premium 14-inch gaming laptop with a stunning OLED screen and serious CPU muscle for both gaming and creative work, and you're okay paying extra for it.
Ключові відмінності
- The OMEN's Core Ultra 9 285H crushes the Ryzen 7 7735HS in multi-core benchmarks: 34,200 vs 22,314. That's 16 cores vs 8, and it shows in anything that eats threads.
- GPU gap is even bigger. The RTX 5070 scores 28,703 vs the 7700S at 15,474, nearly double the performance. But owners note the OMEN's 5070 is capped at 75W, so real-world gains aren't quite as dramatic as the benchmark suggests.
- Display is no contest: the OMEN packs a 2880p OLED at 120Hz while the TUF runs a 1920p IPS at 165Hz. You trade smoothness for color depth and sharpness, and for most people the OLED wins.
- Storage flips the other way. The TUF gives you 2TB vs the OMEN's 1TB, and the OMEN's RAM is soldered, so you can't upgrade it later. That's a real long-term consideration.
- Sentiment is close, 85 vs 82, but the OMEN's score comes from 13 reviews vs the TUF's 7. TUF owners mention Windows crashes and a speaker dying within a month, while OMEN buyers gripe about soldered RAM and short battery life outside eco mode.
