ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" GA403WW-G14.R95080 Platinum White 2025
Microsoft Surface Laptop 13.8" 7th Edition Black 2025
Grab the Zephyrus G14 if you want a genuinely portable gaming rig or creator machine that can handle AAA titles, heavy renders, and AI workloads without breaking a sweat.
The Surface Laptop 7th Edition is for students and office workers who just need a thin, quiet machine for browsing, docs, and light multitasking, and don't care about gaming or heavy creative work.
Differenze chiave
- The G14 packs an RTX 5080 with a 35,666 GPU benchmark score vs the Surface's Intel Arc integrated graphics at 5,484. That's a 6.5x gap, meaning the ASUS plays modern games at high settings while the Surface struggles with anything beyond casual titles.
- Storage is a blowout: 2TB on the ASUS vs 256GB on the Surface. You'll fill that Surface drive with a few games or a video project, while the G14 gives you actual breathing room.
- RAM matters for multitasking and creative work. The G14 has 32GB vs 16GB on the Surface, which is why the creator score is 88 vs 29 and developer score is 85 vs 57.
- Real-world sentiment backs this up. G14 owners consistently praise the OLED display, build quality, and gaming performance, with a 4.7/5 rating across 271 reviews. The Surface sits at 3.0/5 from just 12 reviews, and its AI score of 23 vs the G14's 74 shows it's not built for local AI workloads.
- The one thing the Surface does better is stay quiet and simple. G14 owners mention fan noise during gaming and some software bloat from Armoury Crate, so if you want a silent, no-fuss laptop for everyday tasks, the Surface is the calmer choice.
