What Buyers Say
KTC H24S17P 23.6"
The KTC H24S17P is a 24-inch 1080p 240Hz curved VA gaming monitor that offers strong native contrast and deep blacks, making it a good value for competitive gamers with midrange GPUs. However, independent testing reveals noticeable dark-transition smearing on the VA panel, which may disappoint motion-sensitive players. It supports VESA mounting and HDR10, but lacks height adjustment and a built-in webcam. Overall, it's a solid choice for high-frame-rate 1080p gaming, but not ideal for those prioritizing image sharpness or fast-motion clarity.
Pros
- Strong native contrast and deep blacks
- 240Hz refresh rate for smooth motion
- Good value for competitive gaming
- VESA mount compatible
- HDR10 support
Cons
- Noticeable dark-transition smearing on VA panel
- No height, swivel, or pivot adjustment
- No built-in webcam or microphone
- Limited HDR performance for high-end expectations
- Not ideal for motion-sensitive competitive players
ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCDMG 27" BLACK 2025
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG is overwhelmingly praised as a top-tier gaming monitor, with users highlighting its stunning 4K QD-OLED picture quality, deep blacks, vibrant colors, and buttery-smooth 240Hz refresh rate. Verified buyers consistently call it the best monitor they've ever used, noting excellent build quality and responsiveness. Minor drawbacks include a glossy screen that can reflect light, potential text clarity issues due to the subpixel layout, and a lack of included VESA screws, but these are far outweighed by the exceptional gaming and media experience. The Neo Proximity Sensor and OLED Care features provide peace of mind against burn-in, making it a highly recommended investment for enthusiasts.
