What Buyers Say
LG UltraGear 39GX90SA-W 39" White 2025
The LG 45GS95QE is a stunning ultrawide OLED monitor with exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and a highly immersive 800R curve. Users praise its gaming performance, smooth high refresh rate, and flexible connectivity, but several note that the product listing is misleading—showing images and specs for a 5K2K model while shipping a 1440p version. Out-of-the-box calibration can appear washed out, requiring manual tweaks for optimal HDR, and some units arrive with panel artifacts that are fixed by running Pixel Cleaning. The lack of a detailed manual and vague burn-in warranty information are also common concerns.
Pros
- Stunning OLED picture quality
- Immersive 800R curve
- High refresh rate and smooth gaming
- Vibrant and accurate colors after calibration
- Flexible connectivity (USB-C, DisplayPort)
Cons
- Misleading product listing (1440p vs 5K2K)
- Washed out colors out of the box
- Panel artifacts requiring Pixel Cleaning
- Vague and poorly translated manual
- No burn-in warranty coverage
Apple Studio Display XDR 27" Silver 2026
The Apple 27" Studio Display XDR is widely praised for its stunning 5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and exceptional color accuracy, making it a top choice for professional photo and video editors. Users consistently highlight the superb HDR performance, excellent build quality, and seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem. However, the extremely high price is a recurring point of contention, with many noting that while the performance justifies the cost for professionals, it feels overpriced for general use. Some minor issues include the need for a firmware update upon first connection and the speakers being merely adequate rather than excellent.
Pros
- Stunning 5K resolution
- Excellent color accuracy
- Superb HDR performance
- 120Hz refresh rate
- Premium build quality
Cons
- Extremely high price
- Speakers only adequate, not excellent
- Firmware update required on first connection
- No HDMI input for versatility
- Nano-texture may be visible to some
