What Buyers Say
Moondrop Edge
The Moondrop Edge headphones offer impressive sound quality and a unique aesthetic at a reasonable price, but they have notable drawbacks. Many users praise the comfort, build quality, and battery life, while criticizing the initially weak bass response, which was later improved via firmware updates and a customizable EQ. Common complaints include an overly loud anime girl voice assistant, electrical noise in one earcup, and mediocre noise cancellation that struggles in noisy environments. Overall, they are a solid value for audiophiles on a budget, but not without quirks.

- Good sound quality after EQ
- Excellent battery life
- Stable Bluetooth 5.4 connection
Cons
- Weak bass response initially

- Electrical noise in right earcup
- Mediocre noise cancellation
- Low maximum volume
Sony WH-1000XM6
The Sony WH-1000XM6 earns praise for its exceptional noise cancellation, clear sound quality, and comfortable fit for many users, with several calling it the best headphones they've owned. However, a significant number of reviews highlight serious drawbacks: uncomfortable clamping force and shallow earcups causing pain, buggy multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, a fingerprint-prone finish, and disappointing customer service regarding warranty repairs and promised free gifts. While the ANC and audio are top-tier, comfort and reliability issues prevent it from being a universal recommendation.

- Clear and detailed sound quality
- Comfortable for many users
- Long battery life
- Foldable design
Cons
- Uncomfortable clamping force
