What Buyers Say
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-core AM4
The AMD Ryzen 5 3600X is widely praised as an outstanding value CPU, delivering excellent gaming and multitasking performance that rivals much more expensive Intel chips. Users appreciate its strong single and multi-threaded capabilities right out of the box, with Precision Boost Overdrive negating the need for manual overclocking. While the included stock cooler works, many recommend an aftermarket cooler for lower temperatures and quieter operation, as the CPU can run hot and the stock fan can be loud. A recurring note is that the non-X 3600 offers nearly identical performance for less money, making the 3600X only worthwhile if found on sale.

- Higher price than non-X 3600 for marginal gains
- Voltage offset needed for lower idle temps
