The Sony A7V is widely praised as a powerful hybrid camera with exceptional autofocus, fast burst shooting, and improved thermal management. Users upgrading from the A7IV or A7III note significant gains in speed, video quality, and reliability, especially for action and wildlife photography. A few criticisms include the lack of an included battery charger, no open gate recording, and minor menu learning curves, but overall sentiment is very positive.
